O Death

This animation, conceived and created in collaboration with Ros Hartigan, is assembled entirely from still photos taken on a Pentax K3iii monochrome camera. The music is performed by Ros Hartigan (bass, vocals) and Mike Kenyon (cello). "O Death" is a traditional folk song, most notably associated with Dock Boggs and with the Stanley Brothers. We first learned the tune from our old friend Stacy Phillips.
