Unquenched #2: The Devil's Interval Codex

This codex has four versions, all cyanotype, two printed on archival paper, two assembled from cotton muslin. Large format (8x10) view camera negatives were used to contact print the images. The words were typed on a manual typewriter, transferred to an ortho-litho emulsion using a twentieth century photographic enlarger, and contact printed under broken glass. The tune is a version of Blind Lemon Jefferson's "One Dime Blues," performed by roots musicians Rosalind Hartigan and Mike Kenyon.
